For the Love of Horses

FULL REDESIGN

Horse & Hound is one of Britain’s most famous weekly titles. But the latest version of the logo did not celebrate its heritage. So I reimagined it with a design that the audience assumed had been there all along. The audience is passionate but also diverse. Which is why my subscription marketing strategy was to focus on what unites the audience. In this instance, ‘Love Horses’.

RESULTS

First of all, I restored Whyte Melvilles’ original 1884 message above the logo – ‘I freely admit that the best of my fun I owe it to Horse & Hound’. After that, the entire brand was overhauled. New templates, new website, new socials. All templates have remained unchanged since their introduction.
