MOJO LAUNCH DESIGN

The brief was to build on the success of Q by launching a complementary, rootsier music title. ‘It’s our confirmed intention to pitch a wang-dang-doodle – all night long if necessary’. So said Mojo editor Paul DuNoyer, upon the title’s launch. As creative director, I drew the logo, created the template and designed the first dozen issues. I also designed the ads, written here by David Hepworth.

RESULTS

PPA title of the year twice over, Mojo delivered exceptional music journalism and design to a standard that in the opinion of many has never been equalled. It remains the UK’s best-selling music monthly.
